BT Wholesale is adding conferencing services to its portfolio of traditional and IP voice services.
Called Wholesale Conferencing, this new product allows SynergyPlus and our customers meet with colleagues, customers, stakeholders and suppliers wherever and whenever. It offers a wide range of conferencing services from a simple-three way phone call to large events involving 1,250 people across the globe.
Ovum expects the global use of audio conferencing services to grow from 37.8 billion minutes in 2007 to 57 billion minutes in 2012.
Currently BT Wholesale are providing audio conferencing and web conferencing, and in the near future Wholesale Conferencing (a 'pay as you go' service that requires no up front investment or set up costs and is charged on monthly usage volumes) will also offer videoconferencing.
BT Wholesale has been trialling its Wholesale Conferencing services over the last three months and the feedback is positive.
Wholesale Conferencing is the latest cloud service that BT Wholesale has introduced. Others include BT Wholesale's award winning IP Voice Services and IP Exchange as provided by SynergyPlus
